Warranty & Service

What the Norvablind warranty covers, how long it runs for each component, and how to raise a service request.

Our commitment to you

Norvablind products are warranted against manufacturing defects for the periods below, from the date of delivery. The warranty covers repair or replacement of the defective component; it does not cover removal and reinstallation labour unless agreed in writing.

Warranty periods

Motors
10 years against manufacturing defect
Fabric
5 years against manufacturing defect, including delamination and excessive colour fade under normal conditions
Hardware
5 years, including headboxes, brackets, hem bars and carriers
Controls
5 years, including remotes, wall switches and hubs
Batteries
2 years, covering capacity retention to specification
Curtain tracks
5 years on the track and drive; 10 years on the motor

What is covered

  • Failure of a motor to operate within its rated specification
  • Electronic control failure under normal use
  • Fabric faults present at manufacture, including weaving faults and delamination
  • Hardware breakage under normal operation
  • Premature battery capacity loss below specification

What is not covered

  • Normal wear and tear, including fabric soiling and fading from prolonged direct sun
  • Accidental damage, impact damage or damage in transit after delivery acceptance
  • Incorrect installation, including out-of-level mounting and over-tensioned fabric
  • Unauthorised modification, repair or use of non-approved spares
  • Damage from cleaning agents outside our published recommendations
  • Consumable items such as remote batteries

How to raise a service request

01

Contact us

Use your account contact or the support address, with the order reference.

02

Describe the fault

Include what you have observed and, where useful, a short video.

03

Diagnosis

We confirm the likely cause and whether it is a warranty matter.

04

Remedy

We ship the replacement component, or issue a credit where agreed.

Spare parts

Motors, carriers, batteries and controls are supplied as spares, so a unit can be repaired rather than replaced. This matters most on large projects where matching a discontinued fabric would otherwise mean changing a whole elevation.
