Fabric Collections

Openness, texture and colour across the full Norvablind library, with the light behaviour of each collection explained so you can specify by result.

Specify by the result you want

Every collection in the Norvablind library is organised by how it handles light, not by colour alone. Openness factor, construction and lining determine whether a fabric darkens a room, diffuses daylight or keeps a view, so those are the first things to decide.

The collections below cover the full range. Physical samples are the only reliable way to judge colour and texture, so we ship swatch books at no cost and larger cuts for active projects.

How to read an openness factor

Openness factor is the percentage of the fabric surface that is open hole. A 3% fabric blocks 97% of the light striking it while still allowing a view through. A lower number blocks more light and dims the view; a higher number does the opposite.

Openness factor guidance by room type
