03How we use information

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, fulfil an order, provide technical or after-sales support, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Marketing communication is only sent where you have asked for it, and every marketing message includes an unsubscribe link. Enquiry handling is not conditional on agreeing to marketing.

04Cookies and site technologies

This website sets no cookies. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics cookies, and nothing is stored on your device by us, so there is no cookie banner to accept.

We do measure how the site is used, using a counter that runs on our own server. It makes no request to any outside service and shares nothing with anyone.

What is recorded
The page requested, the site you arrived from if you followed a link, whether the device was a phone, tablet or desktop, the approximate country where the hosting provider supplies it, and the time of the visit.
What is not recorded
No IP address is written to disk, no cookie or device identifier is created, and no profile is built. Your IP address is combined with your browser signature and a value that is regenerated every day, and then hashed. Only the hash is kept, so a visit cannot be traced back to you, and the same person cannot be followed from one day to the next or across other websites.
Who can see it
Only us. Nothing is sent to Google, Meta or any other third party, and no analytics data leaves our server.
How long it is kept
Individual records are kept for a limited period, after which they are reduced to anonymous totals. The aggregated figures contain no personal information and are the only thing kept long term.

05Sharing, storage and retention

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the business, such as freight forwarders and payment processors, and only to the extent needed to perform that service. Some of these providers may process data in a different country to your own.

Enquiry records are retained for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting order, and for the period required by tax and accounting rules.

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal information, to object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details on this page.
